Tucked between France and Japan in EPCOT’s World Showcase, the Morocco Pavilion is often one of the quietest corners in the park, and it’s not because it lacks beauty or authenticity.

In fact, Morocco is one of the most intricately designed pavilions in the entire World Showcase, with stunning tile work, hidden courtyards, and immersive architecture that reflects centuries of Moroccan artistry. But despite its charm, it’s frequently overlooked by guests, and we think we know why.
One major reason guests skip the pavilion is that it lacks a traditional attraction or show to pull people in. Unlike neighboring pavilions that boast rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure or shows like Impressions de France, Morocco doesn’t offer a major draw beyond its ambiance. And with Restaurant Marrakesh in the back of the pavilion permanently closed, the pathway leading deeper into Morocco now feels like a dead end to many guests. Spice Road Table and Oasis Sweets & Sips are located right off the main walking path, and many visitors assume that’s all there is to see—and keep walking.

Adding to the mystery, the pavilion quietly houses a character meet-and-greet that even seasoned Disney-goers often miss: Princess Jasmine. Her meet-and-greet is tucked away and not always well-marked, meaning families hoping to see their favorite Agrabah princess might stroll right past her without realizing it. Without that “must-see” element front and center, Morocco struggles to compete for attention in a park packed with popular experiences.

Just because the restaurant options might seem limited in this country, don’t skip Spice Road Table! If you’re willing to be a little adventurous with your flavors, this is a great spot for you. This definitely has lounge vibes with the small plates menu — it’s made to share! The Spice Road Sampler is one of our favorites here. It’s great if you want a little bit of variety. It comes with Zaalouk, Spiced Lamb Kefta, and House-made Hummus Fries in small portions.

Whether you want to explore the gallery space featuring Moroccan art and culture, sip on a mint tea under the archways, or snap a photo in one of the most Instagrammable spots in the park, this pavilion deserves a second look. On your next Disney trip, slow down and explore Morocco—you just might find your new favorite hidden gem.
