Heads up popcorn bucket collectors, you might want to head to the Magic Kingdom!
Over the last decade, popcorn buckets have become one of the most popular categories of Disney souvenirs, with fans gobbling up countless designs, including seasonal exclusives and special events. Speaking of, we spotted a previously event-exclusive popcorn bucket for sale on a recent visit to the Magic Kingdom.
Earlier this year, Disney introduced several popcorn buckets for the Holiday season, including a Mickey & Minnie Gingerbread House design.
While this bucket was available at Disneyland, initially the only way to get it at Walt Disney World was at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party beginning on December 5th. Towards the middle of the month, the bucket was also available — and sold out — at the Disney World hotels that have gingerbread displays, including the Grand Floridian.
Now that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has wrapped up for the season, the remaining stock of the bucket has gone on sale during normal park hours. It’s available at the Magic Kingdom for $29.95 (including popcorn) while supplies last, with a limit of 2 per person, per transaction.
If you really want to get your hands on the previously (on the East Coast anyway) exclusive Mickey & Minnie’s Gingerbread House popcorn bucket, get over to the Magic Kingdom ASAP. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney souvenir updates.
