Get ready to blast off to another galaxy, because we’re taking a trip to Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

This out-of-this-world lounge has been wildly popular ever since it opened, despite only serving drinks and a snack or two. That recently changed when Oga’s added some new items to their menu — and we’re taking you along with us to check them out.
NEW menu items have landed at Oga’s Cantina, so of course we had to go check them out! There were two new snacks and three new drinks, so we grabbed the snacks and a drink for good measure.

First, we grabbed the Umbaran Cheese Roll for $12. This is a spice-dusted pretzel bun stuffed with herbed cheese and a dipping sauce.

This was a hit! It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The herbed cheese inside was warm and creamy and had a hint of spice to it but nothing crazy. The cheese inside reminded us of a spiced pimento cheese and the dipping sauce is like a thin honey mustard sauce, which pairs really well with the cheese and pretzel. There is a lot of flavor to this bread and we really enjoyed it! It was more unique than the flatbread and probably our favorite of the two.

We also grabbed the Thruster Roasted Bantha Flatbread for $17. This is a naan flatbread topped with spiced chorizo beef and a four-cheese blend.

There was so much good spice to this flatbread. It had a warm spice blend we couldn’t quite place — like maybe cinnamon, or nutmeg. We didn’t taste too much of the cheese on the flatbread, but the chorizo was juicy and there was lots of it. There is also a tomato pizza sauce on top and it is finished with some microgreens. It had a thin crust on it and the crust was soft and not crunchy.

To drink, we grabbed the Nysillin and Bubbles with Brub Berry Essence for $18. It’s made with Empress 1908 Gin, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, and blueberry-lime juice topped with tonic water and garnished with an edible hibiscus flower.

This drink was on the sweeter time and had a lot of fruity flavor. All of the flavors are really well balanced and the gin works great in this drink. There is a bit of tartness that does a good job of cutting out some of the sweetness. You can definitely taste blueberry and lime in the drink. The elderflower was light, and the prominent flavors were gin and blueberry. It was really tasty and refreshing, and we would definitely get it again!

We love that Oga’s has expanded its menu a bit and added these new snacks! For now, it seems as though they’re permanent additions to the menu but we’ll let you know if that changes.
