Disneyland Paris is home to some pretty spectacular attractions, restaurants, and live entertainment offerings that we’ve been very jealous of over the years.

And there’s ANOTHER new offering coming to the resort that we’re so excited about, even though we won’t get the chance to dine there for a hot second (if ever). Upon looking at the concept art, a lot of people aren’t as excited about this new addition as we think they should be, because they’re not paying attention to all the details in the wording!
There’s a new restaurant coming to Disney Village, the Disney Springs-style shopping and dining district in Disneyland Paris. It’s called Casa Giulia and has a current opening timeline of 2026. It’ll focus on serving Italian eats and drinks, and that’s usually where a lot of people think “Meh, okay, sounds whatever.” But it’s NOT whatever!

If you’ve seen Pixar’s Luca, you may recognize the name Giulia as Giulia Marcovaldo from the film! Now, Disney hasn’t exactly confirmed if the restaurant will be inspired or themed after Luca, but that’s a pretty wild coincidence if not.

Now if the theming isn’t drawing you in, how about the SIZE of this restaurant — it’s said to be able to fit a whopping 500 guests throughout its two stories. That’s a HUGE restaurant, y’all! Bigger than most of the restaurants on Disney World property. AND most of the larger restaurants in Disney World that can fit a large number of guests are quick service locations, like Cosmic Ray’s, Backlot Express, or Connections Eatery. However, this will have table service!

Not only that, it’ll be served family-style with a variety of Italian cuisine that is “revisited with a gourmet twist to suit all tastes and provide a warm atmosphere for families and friends” according to Disney. Plus, at the bar (yes, there will be a bar!) guests can enjoy a variety of Italian drinks. There will also be a counter service and to-go area though, so reservations won’t be required to try food here!
There is SO much to look forward to with this new restaurant, we can’t wait to see and hear more as it develops, so stay tuned to AllEars!
