Release DATE Announced for NEW Series Coming to Disney+

A new series will be coming to Disney+ — SOON!

We’ve seen a lot of great content come out on Disney+ over the past year. We’ve watched Loki, Behind the Attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and so much more. Don’t even get us started on the merger between Disney+ and Hulu — that added so much more content for us to binge. It looks like Disney+ is adding another show into the mix for us to watch. Here’s what we know so far!

Back at the D23 fan convention in 2022, Disney announced a brand new series — Iwájú. Since the announcement, we’ve been keeping our eyes open for more news about this series. We haven’t seen anything new pop up about it — until NOW.

Disney collaborated with an outside company, Kugali, to bring us this new series. The show is said that it will take viewers on a journey like no other, as we will be traveling to the futuristic version of Lagos, Nigeria.

Disney or Kugali hasn’t said much more about the premise of the show, but they did announce the release of the series, which is February 28th. The WHOLE series will be released that day, so it looks like its time for a series marathon.

This series was planned to hit Disney+ in 2023, but got delayed, as did many other shows and movies after the writers’ and actors’ strikes. Regardless, we’re so excited to FINALLY be able to watch it. We’re keeping our eyes out for more news about this series, so keep checking back in with us at AllEars to see what we find out next!
