We spotted LOTS of construction going on at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn the other day.
If you’ve been following along with the updates for the Boardwalk, you might know that the Disney hotel is getting new additions. The Cake Bake Shop has been announced to be coming in 2024 (postponed from late 2023) and a little-known corn dog stand from the West Coast is set to make its way to Florida. Now, we noticed some new hedges up at the resort. Let’s take a look at what’s cooking!
While strolling around Crescent Lake, we happened upon the Boardwalk Inn and noticed a few hedges and walls up around a few locations. One of those was the BoardWalk To-Go stand.
The BoardWalk To-Go stand closed down a while ago and Disney announced that it would be replaced with Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, the famous corn dog stand from Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort. The corn dog stand is known for its creative take on normal corndogs, often adding unexpected ingredients such as pickles.
While the announcement came earlier this year that the corn dog stand would be joining the BoardWalk, it now looks like the time has come for the changeover to start happening. We spotted hedges in front of the location which is usually a BIG hint that something is coming!

There has not been an official opening date set yet as far as we know. But we’ll be keeping our eyes on the construction and let you know of any updates!
