We’re letting you in on a Disney World SECRET.

No, it’s not the fact that there are extra virtual queues only some guests can use. It’s also not about some of our favorite snacks that are hiding in plain sight. We’re taking you over to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to give you what might be the BEST tip for this land!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the newest land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that opened in 2019. Ever since it opened Star Wars fans and regular parkgoers alike have been enjoying blue and green milk, fighting with the Resistance, and flying the Millennium Falcon.

Speaking of, the Millennium Falcon is one of the most popular photo spots in the entire land — and for good reason! But our secret will allow you to plus up your photos even MORE.

It all starts with Oga’s Cantina. This is a bar that serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a few snacks, and it is one of the hardest dining reservations to score in all of Disney World. So if this is your list to make a reservation for, we have a recommendation.

Grab the latest reservation possible for Oga’s Cantina. This spot is usually open for an additional hour after the entire park closes, and they still offer reservations during that hour.

So why does this matter? Well, after you’ve had a drink or two and you leave the Cantina, Galaxy’s Edge will be EMPTY. Not a person in sight. The Cantina is small, to begin with, so between that and the fact that the park is closed, you should have free reign to take some incredible nighttime shots in the land without others in the background.

If you don’t mind late nights, this is one of our absolute favorite things to do in Hollywood Studios. Not only will you have an empty Galaxy’s Edge, but it will be a peaceful walk under the lights of the park as you make your way toward the exit. Doesn’t that sound lovely?
