RUN to Gideon's Bakehouse to Get a SECRET Treat in Disney World

There is a tiny bakery tucked away in Disney Springs that might not look very special from the outside. The building is brick, the doors are large and heavy, and there aren’t any large windows to let the sun shine through. Yet inside are some of the BEST cookies in Disney World, and people travel from all over the world to try them.

Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs has earned a legendary reputation among Disney fans. Between the unique cookie flavors and the giant slices of cake, most people you ask have several favorite treats here. Speaking of treats, there’s a NEW dessert available at Gideon’s Bakehouse, but you’ll have to get lucky to find it.

Disney World is celebrating Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month with TONS of special offerings. We recently spotted Bruno from Encanto in the Adventure Friends Calvalcade AND got to meet Mirabel! Oh, and we’ve also been trying tons of limited-time Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month treats.

Gideon’s Bakehouse is celebrating, too! The bakery announced that they will offer a new weekend bonus dessert called the Coconut & Guava Macaroon Tart. It’s an oversized tart filled with coconut, guava, and a macaroon top.

There are SO many great desserts in here!

According to Gideon’s Bakehouse, this treat was created by Gideon’s Chef Willie Rosario (and it’s a new favorite treat of his). Look out for this VERY limited treat every Saturday & Sunday between September 15th and October 15th!⁣

Note that there is a limit of two per person, and these tarts will only be available while supplies last. If you’re interested in giving these a try, we recommend getting to Disney Springs EARLY!
