PHOTOS: Get a Sneak Peek Inside New Rooms at Disney's Boardwalk Inn

Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is in the middle of a BIG refurbishment. Although the hotel remains open, there are lots of changes happening inside.

The new Carousel Coffee shop opened in the hotel’s lobby recently, and Boardwalk Deli took over the Boardwalk Bakery only a few months ago. Now, we’ve got a sneak peek inside some of the refurbished rooms!

Disney announced back in 2022 that a lot of changes were coming to the Boardwalk Inn, including updates to the hotel’s lobby and guest rooms.

Today, when Disney announced that expanded housekeeping services are returning to Disney World hotels, they also revealed a sneak peek at those newly updated rooms.

Disney said that these new rooms will “start debuting to guests over the coming weeks,” so if you’re staying at the Boardwalk soon, you might be lucky enough to be in one of these new rooms.

The rooms seem to keep the general theme of the Boardwalk hotel with pastel colors and fun patterns, but they seem a bit brighter and more refreshed than the old rooms. There’s new artwork inside “featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and other favorite Disney characters strolling through iconic locations at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.”

Disney said that this “much-anticipated update” is “all possible thanks to the cast members who make it happen behind the scenes.” We’ll be watching for an official opening date for these new rooms!

If you stop by the Boardwalk Inn soon, you might notice some signs of construction in the hotel lobby, too. Disney previously said that this space will be highlighted with light and airy touches, “carrying the seaside breeze right inside.”
