A different exciting day has come, and it’s all about your next Disney World Resort hotel stay! We’re sharing an important update about Disney World Housekeeping that you need to know.

Disney just announced that FULL housekeeping will return to all Disney World Resort hotels by the end of February! Services have been ramping up at various resorts for quite some time, but everything will be back to normal by the end of the month.

Polynesian Village Resort

Housekeeping services had been modified since the hotels reopened after the closures, with the most recent schedule being every other day at most resorts.

Not only that, but those special touches might start to return as well. You may find your new Mickey ears on display or your plushes playing a game of cards at the table!

Disney housekeeping staff go above and beyond to make your stay that much more magical, like Duckky, Cast Member at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. They said, “If I can make somebody smile every day just by walking past and saying ‘have a magical day,’ that warms my heart. Everything I do here warms my heart.”

There’s lots of space in here!

We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates from Disney World Resort hotels, so stay tuned to AllEars for more!

  1. I only stay overnight so I don’t really interact with Housekeeping.
Except when they were pounding on my door one morning at 8am when I had a migraine and needed a little more sleep.
Blinds were shut, lights were off…get a clue!
I did complain and make sure the Do Not Disturb sign is out. But that doesn’t always stop them from knocking at my door.

  2. Would be nice if they go back to giving you a $ credit for declining housekeeping again. That was a nice perk to make your own bed.
