The next big runDisney event, Disney World’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon is almost here!
We’ve already seen what the medals will look like, we learned how shopping for merchandise would be different this year, and we got a sneak peek at this year’s merchandise. But NOW we’ve got even more big news for runners participating in the event!
The Wine & Dine Half Marathon will take place from November 3rd through 6th at Disney World. And while runners can already get excited about the race events, there’s a special PERK that they can take advantage of too.
Runners who participate in races during the Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend can get 50% OFF 1-day tickets for themselves plus THREE other people for the Typhoon Lagoon water park!

Tickets can be purchased with a valid race bib at the ESPN Wide World of Sports during expo hours or over at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. Tickets can be used from November 3rd through November 10th.
So come to Disney World and participate in a race, and then relax at Typhoon Lagoon before it closes for a refurbishment on November 13th (don’t worry — Blizzard Beach is reopening on that same day with some new Frozen-themed areas!).
Remember that crowds during a race weekend are usually high, so prepare for that whether you’re running or not. You may want to consider purchasing Genie+ to avoid longer lines at attractions.
And if you’ll be around during race weekend, you may want to visit Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, where there will be a special DOLE Whip Float available for a limited time!
