Disney+ has so many shows and films to watch, sometimes it may seem impossible to keep up with them all!

Disney has announced that a new Marvel show, Echo, will be coming to the platform in the future. And now it’s been announced that some BIG stars will be joining the cast!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Charlie Cox, who played Daredevil in the Netflix Daredevil series, and Vincent D’Onofrio, who played The Kingpin in the same series and the villain in Hawkeye, will be joining the cast of Echo!
Echo stars Hawkeye breakout star Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, and will be Disney’s next show that’ll reintroduce former Marvel heroes who had their own shows into current shows. Cox and D’Onofrio acted together in Marvel’s Daredevil series, which was canceled in 2018 ahead of Disney+’s impending launch. However, a new Daredevil series (technically the show’s 4th season) has been ordered.

Echo follows Maya Lopez “as her life in New York as a gang leader catches up with her and she returns to her hometown to reconnect with her Native American roots.” Fans have already seen her face the Kingpin in Hawkeye after learning (spoiler warning!) that he was the reason for her uncle’s death.
According to some sources, the show will feature a plotline where “Daredevil, whose alter ego is blind attorney Matt Murdoch, is searching out a former ally.” Reportedly, this ally may be Jessica Jones.

The Echo series is also set to star Zahn McClarnon (reprising his role as Maya Lopez’s uncle), Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, and Graham Greene.
Cox and D’Onofrio allegedly have had hours-long conversations about their MCU returns, and in February Cox revealed he was hoping their paths would cross again in the MCU, saying he had lots of fun working with him in the past. The Echo series is expected to hit Disney+ in 2023.

New content and news are announced for Disney’s streaming service often. Just recently, we heard about the title for the National Treasure series coming to the service!
