Cars Land Will Have ANOTHER Ride Closure Soon in Disneyland

Cars Land in Disney California Adventure has had a rough couple of weeks.

It started when a ride vehicle on Radiator Spring Racers released smoke with passengers still inside. That led to a closure that lasted over a week, which was unfortunate, as the attraction is one of the most popular rides in the park. And now, another attraction in Cars Land will be closed for refurbishment.

Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree is an attraction in Cars Land that allows guests to swing around in a hoedown, hosted by Mater! The best part about the ride? It’s usually a much shorter wait time than Radiator Spring Racers!

But if you’re hoping to dance around with Mater this month, you may be out of luck. The attraction will be closed on June 13th…

…and won’t reopen until June 17th.

Be sure to check the Disneyland App when you visit, as some refurbishments can be shorter or longer than expected. And, if it is closed during your visit, you can still get your fix at Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters! Instead of partaking in a hoedown, you’ll be dancing along to Italian tunes!

If you’re hungry, Blue Bayou Restaurant recently reopened in Disneyland Park, but Pirates of the Caribbean remains closed for its lengthy refurb. It looks like the fan-favorite attraction will reopen at the end of the month, but we’ll let you know when it is open to guests again!
