Watch the Trailer for Disney's NEWEST Movie!

Up until now, Disney hasn’t released a ton of information about their newest upcoming animated film, Strange World. Now, we have some updates!

Strange World will be an original story about exploration in an unknown world, but up until now, Disney has only released concept art. Today, Disney revealed the movie poster and a NEW teaser trailer, so find out more about Strange World right here!

Strange World is currently scheduled for release on November 23rd, 2022, and it’s led by Don Hall, director of Big Hero 6 and Raya and the Last Dragon. Hall has said that the film is inspired by pulp magazines with stories about explorers, hidden worlds, and ancient creatures.

Jake Gyllenhaal is the voice behind the character of Searcher Clade, the son of a famous explorer. The film’s poster says, “Journey to a place where nothing is as it appears!” According to Disney, the Clade family travels to a new land where they encounter all kinds of new creatures.

In the teaser trailer, we learn that Searcher Clade claims to be a farmer and not an explorer, in contrast with his family and his legendary explorer father. The world does look very strange, indeed!
