The Disney Cruise Line has seen a lot of changes to health and safety measures over the past year and things only continue to change as Disney monitors the status of the pandemic.

Recently, the Disney Cruise line has relaxed its mask policy, social distancing measures, and even brought up capacity limits. And, as more and more returns to “normal,” there are still some COVID-19 testing requirements that you’ll need to know about — especially if your cruise is sailing to Alaska and/or stopping in Canada.
As of March 14th, 2022, the Disney Cruise Line will now be requiring that all cruise passengers complete an online health profile and take a COVID-19 test before disembarking the ship in Canada. This is in compliance with Canadian government mandates.

The online health profile must be done through ArriveCAN prior to sailing and entering Canada either online or via the ArriveCAN app.

Within 72 hours of arrival to Canada, passengers will need to upload proof of full COVID-19 vaccination for travelers 12 years of age and older, provide contact information and travel details, and make a quarantine plan should you test positive while in the country (which Disney Cruise Line is currently finalizing).
Disney Cruise Line also notes that they will be working with their own testing partners to conduct the mandatory COVID-19 tests.

For sailing itineraries that will have passengers arriving in Canada after 72 hours of first departing, passengers will need to submit this information while they are at sea. To do this, you may need to purchase a wi-fi package on the ship or standard mobile device connectivity may be available when in port.

Of course, we’ll continue to monitor the COVID-19 updates from the Disney Cruise Line, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
