We get SUPER excited to see surprise characters around the parks, but we’ve also seen recurring, unexpected visitors who have popped up recently too.

Disney World has been a-buzzing with bees as we’ve seen them making a bee-line to spots like the Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs. And, today, they’ve been spotted in another new spot at the Disney Resorts!
While we were walking out by the pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, we noticed that there was something a bit different. Families weren’t the only guests relaxing in the area…the bees were back again too!

A HUGE beehive was hanging near the pool in between the branches. While you can see it pretty clearly in the photo, it was much more intimidating in real life! Honey bees swarmed the entire area surrounding the tree.

Similar to the precautions taken before, we’re sure that the beehive will be taken down as the bees are safely transported to a different location.

We’ll bee sure to keep you updated about the situation soon! ? Stay tuned with All Ears for the latest Disney entertainment and news!

I frankly admit while staying at any Disney resort, I am always on the lookout. For snakes. For alligators. Love bugs. Anything nature related that crawls or flies. I hardly ever ever see them. Although once I saw an armadillo running along side of a bus. Was I dreaming ? Having just returned from a Disney World vacation, I did notice some bees. I don’t ever recall seeing them at Disney World. One lone bee happened to be on our bus returning to our resort . It was hard to ignore. That bee was not happy to be trapped on a bus. It was loud. It kept hurling itself into windows. Then it landed on my husbands head. Not mine, thank God. He quickly swatted it to the floor of the bus. Poor bee landed hard. No worries, it began its flight again, more angry than before. I was very happy to leave the bus when my stop arrived. Bees are a gift of nature and very necessary to agriculture. However, they can be unnerving when they are after me. Is Winnie the Pooh behind this situation?
