We all know that calories don’t count at Walt Disney World, so there’s no pressure to share your snacks with anyone! But we’ll admit that some items are too much for one person to handle, and it helps to have a few friends!

However, not all shareable snacks are created equal! If you’re looking to purchase something to split, either to save money or to avoid ordering something different for everyone, we have a few suggestions for what you should eat and what you should skip!
EAT: Colossal Pretzel with Beer Cheese from Pongu PonguÂ
SKIP: Generic giant pretzels from outdoor carts
Giant pretzels are aplenty in Disney World, especially if you’re on the hunt for the signature Mickey Mouse-shaped variety. As cute as those guys are, you could be taking a gamble with how fresh it is, and the packaged cheese that you can order with it can be quite polarizing.

Instead, head over to Pongu Pongu in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! There, you’ll find a massive (and we mean MASSIVE) pretzel for $10.49. It’s a few bucks more than what you’ll spend on a Mickey Pretzel, but the real selling point here is that it comes served with BEER CHEESE, which is always the better version of melted cheese in our book!

EAT: Charcuterie from BaseLine Taphouse
SKIP: Charcuterie from Oga’s Cantina
Our next dueling shareable snacks are quite literally minutes away from each other! There’s something… other-worldly… about the Charcuterie Board at Oga’s Cantina, also known as the Happabore Sampler. But for $21.00, you’re taking quite a risk at something that is largely hit-or-miss.

For half the price (yes, HALF the price!) at $10.00, you can instead sample on the California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate at BaseLine Taphouse, just steps from the entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This plate includes a wide variety of cheese, meat, and other goodies that frankly looks much more appetizing.

EAT: Flavored popcornÂ
SKIP: Regular popcorn from outdoor carts
This next one may be a bit controversial, but we’re going to go out on a limb and suggest that next time you have a popcorn craving, go ahead and SKIP those generic popcorn carts you see sprinkled throughout the theme parks. Yes, it’s one of Disney World’s more iconic snacks, and that popcorn can smell AMAZING, but it truly isn’t all that different than the kind you can get at home (especially once you realize it’s just the Pop Secret brand!).

Instead, go for something a little more unique! We suggest checking out some of the flavored popcorn varieties available at Disney World. This includes caramel popcorn from Karamell-Küche at the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT, the Maple popcorn from the Canada Pavilion, and the many unique flavors at Kat Saka’s Kettle in Galaxy’s Edge.

EAT: Kitchen Sink Sundae at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop
SKIP: Mickey’s Kitchen Sink from Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
It’s now time for the battle of the massive ice cream sundaes! Sure, when it comes to ice cream, really any location in Disney World is a good idea and you’ll wind up with a scrumptious frozen treat. But if you’re on the prowl for something to split with the entire family, go big or go home! If Magic Kingdom is your only option, you’ll get by find with Mickey’s Kitchen Sink from Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street, U.S.A.

But if you’re up for the challenge, we highly recommend you tackle the Kitchen Sink Sundae from Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at least once. This dish was NOT created to be eaten by one person, and as a matter of fact, it’s probably too much for two people to split, either. You’ll need the whole family to devour this dish, which includes Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Cookies and Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chips ice cream smothered in every topping they have (and yes, an entire can of whipped cream).

EAT: Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow
SKIP: Mickey Waffle Sundae (non-specialty)
Last but certainly not least, we’re heading to Magic Kingdom for our final shareable snack that we fully endorse you try over other options! While there’s perhaps nothing more iconic than a Mickey Waffle, we’re going to suggest you keep those for breakfast and NOT dessert. That’s because there’s another waffle concoction in Disney World that takes our breath away every time we try it.

And that, friends, is the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow. Served with a Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, this dessert is definitely enough for two people to split. Now, don’t go thinking we’re telling you to skip ALL Mickey Waffle desserts for this sandwich. We’re totally obsessed with the seasonal varieties, like the Pumpkin-spiced Mickey Waffle Sundae. But if those aren’t available, definitely make your waffle pick the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich.
