It’s not often you see unanimous praise in Disney World dining.

EPCOT is known for its food — it’s literally what World Showcase is all about. And with so many restaurants to choose from, it’s wild that one of them has managed to rack up only 10-star reviews on our site. Yes, only one EPCOT restaurant has a perfect score across the board — and we’re here to tell you which one it is (and why our readers are absolutely obsessed).
Let’s talk about Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, tucked away in the Japan Pavilion. This isn’t your average sushi spot — in fact, some of our readers who don’t even like sushi still gave it a 10/10. Between the stunning presentation, unique dishes you won’t find at your local spot, and next-level service, Shiki-Sai has somehow managed to win over every single reviewer on our site so far.

We know that Disney dining can be hit or miss — we’ve all had that one reservation we were hyped for that turned out just okay. So, when every single review for a restaurant is glowing? We take notice.
Here’s what our readers had to say.
“Quite possibly the best meal I’ve had in recent memory.”
One of our anonymous readers gave it a 10/10 and raved: “Quite possibly the best meal I’ve had in recent memory. We went there in December of 2023 and haven’t stopped talking about it. The okonomiyaki was sooooooo good and to us was a must order. Can’t wait to go back on our upcoming trip in February 2025!”

This wasn’t just a good dinner. It was the meal they’re still thinking about almost two years later. The reader also praised the quality, service, and overall experience, and while they noted it was a bit pricey, they added: “Would happily pay it again for how great the meal was!”
“The flavors and presentation are different from anything I’ve ever had before.”
Another guest who rated it a perfect 10 gave a big shoutout to one specific dish — the Sukiyaki rice.

“If you like beef, I 100% recommend trying the Sukiyaki rice dish. The flavors and presentation are different from anything I’ve ever had before in a Japanese restaurant.”

Even though they’re not a sushi fan (and didn’t order any), they still loved the meal. They tried the chicken karaage appetizer and kushi skewers — both solid picks, especially for guests with simpler tastes. They did mention that some tables were a little close together, but added: “That’s no different than other Disney restaurants we’ve eaten in. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would do again.” Again — 10 out of 10.
“Excellent service and fantastic food.”
Short and sweet, but another 10-star review: “Excellent service and fantastic food. Pricey but definitely worth doing.”

That’s the recurring theme here: yes, it’s not cheap. But unlike other pricey spots in the parks, guests actually feel like they’re getting what they paid for.
So What Makes It So Good?
First, the menu is legit. You’ll find dishes here that go beyond your typical rolls and tempura. This isn’t “mall sushi” — it’s Japanese izakaya-style dining, which means small plates meant to be shared, a wide range of flavors, and an emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Second, the setting. This place has some seriously stunning views of World Showcase Lagoon, and if you can snag a table by the window, you’re in for a treat (especially if you time it with fireworks).

And third — and maybe most importantly — the service. Every single review mentioned how great the service was. Disney service can vary from place to place, but at Shiki-Sai, the Cast Members go out of their way to make your meal memorable.

Of course, the one recurring “con” is the price. It’s not a budget-friendly option, but none of our readers seemed to mind. In fact, all three said they’d happily go back and spend the money again. That’s a pretty rare vibe in a park where it’s easy to feel like you didn’t get your money’s worth.

So if you’re planning an EPCOT day and you’re tired of playing restaurant roulette, Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya might be the safest bet in the whole park. Whether you’re a sushi superfan or a beef-and-rice bowl type of person, this place seems to have something for everyone — and it’s the only restaurant in EPCOT with perfect 10-star reviews on our site to prove it.
We’re keeping an eye on those reviews, of course — but so far, Shiki-Sai is holding strong.
