NEWS! 'Mulan' Will Be Available For Purchase on Other Streaming Services Soon!

After several delays in its theatrical release, Disney brought the live action remake of Mulan straight to Disney+. For an additional $29.99, subscribers could be amongst the first to watch the movie, which will become available to all Disney+ subscribers on December 4th without paying an additional fee.

But as of next week, you won’t need a Disney+ subscription to purchase Mulan.

The Verge has reported that on October 6th, Mulan will be available for purchase on other streaming services, including Amazon, FandangoNow, and Vudu. You can currently pre-order the film on these platforms for $29.99, the same price that Disney was charging subscribers to stream the film on Premiere Access.

Keep in mind that if you purchased Mulan on Disney+, you must keep your membership active in order to watch the film. So if you plan on canceling your membership at any time, you will no longer be able to stream Mulan unless you purchase it elsewhere.

Disney’s decision to skip a theatrical release and send Mulan straight to Disney+ via Premiere Access has sparked questions about their other upcoming releases, including Black Widow, which was delayed once again to May of 2021, and Soul, which as of this writing still has a release date of November 20th.
