After Halloween Horror Nights 30 was postponed until next year, your resident HHN mega-fan (AKA me) has been speculating along with others about what thrills would be in store for 2021.

When the Tribute Store recently opened to visitors, we were able to see lots of throwbacks and hints about past characters, stories, and houses returning for the 30th anniversary.
Although the tents that were in place for the event have started to be taken down, there’s still something lurking around the corner that will give horror fans the terror that they crave this time of the year.

Halloween Horror Nights has released a pretty cryptic message for its devout followers. While many fans have been confused about WHAT THIS MEANS, buckle down, folks — we’ve got some thoughts.

The mention of the Tribute Store could mean that there is going to be a virtual element added to the store for guests to interact with during the Halloween season. BUT, we don’t think that Universal would limit that exposure to such a select group of people, since Halloween Horror Nights fans are everywhere.

While the inside of the Tribute Store this year has provided some major spoilers (which has led to PLENTY of theories about next year’s event), the biggest hint in Universal’s latest message is about the “years’ worth of Halloween Horror Nights content” about to “infest your phone, your computer, and your brain.”

Since old HHN lore has obviously made its way back again to the Tribute Store, this new blurb seems like it could be pointing to Universal putting some of its old content online. Whether that is a house tour, footage of previous shows, or even MORE reveals about what will be coming next year, you’re going to want to prepare yourself (and your electronics) for whatever Universal is about to drop soon.

And, if you’re like us, we’ll continue to speculate about what’s to come during Halloween Horror Nights next year! But, maybe you can mix up your own themed cocktail for HHN at Home as a toast to the 2020 event that has been moved (and will be bigger and better in 2021)! We’ll keep you updated with any further developments!
How do we think Halloween Horror Nights 30 will change next year? Here are ALL of our thoughts about what might be in store!
