While updates on construction for the American Disney Parks has been quiet recently, construction on Shanghai Disneyland’s upcoming Zootopia-themed land is ongoing!
Announced in early 2019, construction for the new land started later that year. And now, construction has  just reached an exciting milestone!
Shanghai Disneyland has announced that the first steel column has been installed at the future Zootopia-themed land!
The installation of the steel column is a big milestone, with the exciting new land truly starting to take shape!
To commemorate the new installation, Shanghai Disneyland Cast Members and Imagineers signed the beam prior to its installation. You may also notice the sticker, which is sealed with “City of Zootopia”!
With construction making strides at the park, we will continue to keep you updated on any further developments!
