BREAKING: Disney Announces Big News For Major Theme Park Celebration

If there’s one thing Disney knows how to do, it’s to throw an anniversary party! Lucky for us, with so many Disney Parks, we get to celebrate birthdays all the time, and now we get to add another party to our list.

Shanghai Disney Resort is celebrating its 10th birthday and is going ALL out. From snacks, characters, decorations, and more, we’re so excited for everything coming to the resort.

First up, the stage in front of the Enchanted Storybook Castle will now have three satellite stages and connecting bridges, making it easier to get closer to your favorite characters. “The Heart of Magic” will perform in front of the castle with Mickey and Friends and other characters from Frozen, Hercules, Turning Red, and more. This is Hercules’s Shanghai Disneyland debut!

The park’s parade, Mickey’s Storybook Express, will now have the FriendSHIP! The Duffy and Friends’ Special Pre-Parade addition, which will include all seven friends in a whole new way. Selected guests will get to join in on the fun, too.

The parade will also feature a new float dedicated to Zootopia!

Illuminate! A Nighttime Celebration will debut a new grand finale where Mickey Mouse appears in a flash of magic sparkles wearing a majestic new magician ensemble. Wish will also be joining in a brand-new segment.

Of course, there will be new popcorn buckets! We can already tell everyone’s going to be obsessed with these.

Let’s not forget about the new snacks and dishes coming, too. They look delicious!

There will be special merchandise…

… including collectable tickets!

Mickey and Friends, as well as Duffy and Friends, will be wearing brand-new birthday outfits designed for this special anniversary. They’re inspired by the glimmering celebration theme, and the outfits will burst with wishing star magic.
