Why This Is The BEST Year To Visit Shanghai Disney

A lot of big things are in the works for Shanghai Disney Resort, and we’re not just talking about the impressive Zootopia land that opened there in 2023.

Recently, Disney shared that Shanghai Disney Resort would be getting a new hotel, as well as expanding its shopping, dining, and entertainment district. Well, on top of that, the resort will also be celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2026 and recently revealed its 10th anniversary logo while saying goodbye to 2025.

On New Year’s Eve, Shanghai Disney Resort said goodbye to 2025 and welcomed 2026 with a fireworks show called “Ignite the New Year.” The fireworks show included “2026” being lit up in the sky, as a way to look ahead to the New Year.

During that nighttime spectacular, Shanghai Disney also marked the milestone of its 10th birthday by revealing the 10th birthday logo projected onto the Enchanted Storybook Castle. This is the first time we’ve seen this logo. This will kick off a year-long celebration at the resort. The logo features the number “10” over a gold silhouette of Shanghai Disneyland’s Enchanted Storybook Castle, along with a plus sign and wishing stars.

The sparkly plus sign in the logo has several meanings because it’s also the Chinese character for the number 10, but it also means “plus more magic to be unveiled.” The logo also has the tagline “With You, It’s Magic+,” with the plus sign “paying “a special homage to those who have been with and will be with this journey, creating and sharing the magic together.”
