It’s time to go back into the spider-verse!

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was a runaway hit when it debuted in 2018, garnering both critical and commercial success, along with an Oscar for Best Animated Feature! So, it should come as no surprise that a sequel is on the way!
Set for a 2022 release date, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 has officially begun production, according to Sony Animator Nick Kondo. Kondo posted this brief animation on his Twitter, which has us very excited to take a trip back to the world of Miles Morales.

While not many other updates have been given at this time, Kondo’s confirmation that he’s back on the job brings us one big step closer to the sequel!
