This winter holiday season, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting some special treatment. The Park is introducing all new holiday decor in every land, and Disney Parks Blog just released a video sharing some of the secrets and inspirations behind the designs.
Each land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom will receive a holiday overlay in keeping with the land’s style. Africa will see creative interpretations of holiday staples, like this Christmas tree crafted from “found” materials like bike tires.
Asia’s decor will include lanterns, bells, and traditional flower garlands.
Craftspeople are hard at work constructing huge lighted garlands full of festive details — and details that reflect the stylings and tone of the Park itself.
