There’s a new party coming to Disney California Adventure this Halloween! Get ready for the Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party.

The separate-ticket party kicks off on September 17 and will run select nights through October 31. As we get closer to the first night Disney is sharing some new concept art for the event.

We have already been “treated” to a preview of “Villainous!” World of Color — a Halloween themed version of World of Color. Now, we are being treated to some more previews and concept art for the party’s events!

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be transformed into Villains Grove, a walk-through attraction that takes you into the minds of Disney Villains. This experience will see you through a series of scenes, each mixing sound, light and shadows. Disney says the interactive and dreamlike environment will be appropriate for all ages to wander.

Trick-or-treat on the new Immersive Treat Trails throughout the park. Iconic characters such as Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, or even Oogie Boogie himself will surprise guests. Additional treat trails will feature oversized cauldrons full of treats for all guests to enjoy.

DescenDance Dance Party is a new dance party in the Backlot area of Hollywood Land inspired by the popular Disney Channel Descendants franchise. As the DescenDance begins, a spell is cast, summoning the greatest dance crew from the Isle of the Lost to lead everyone in moves that are set to the biggest hit songs from the Descendants films.

The guest-favorite “Frightfully Fun Parade” is coming to Disney California Adventure for the first time! The Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow starts the parade, followed by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse leading the cavalcade of characters and Disney villains who are ready to stir up some trouble along the parade route.

Mickey’s Trick and Treat Show will be perfect for kids of all ages. This new, interactive stage show invites kids to join Mickey Mouse and his pals as they throw a Halloween party! Enjoy dancing, not-so-frightening tales, and candy at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land.
You will also be able to meet Disney characters and villains during the party for photos and greetings!
Your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket will give you entry to Disney California Adventure park before the party. The after-hours party begins at 7:00 pm and you will have the opportunity to enter the park for three hours before the event starts on Tuesday and Thursday nights (excluding October 29 and October 31) or four hours on Sunday nights, plus October 29 and October 31.

Tickets for the new Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party may be purchased online, as well as at the Disneyland Resort main gate and by phone at 714-781-4636. Online and mobile purchases are not available the day of the event. Parking is not included in the ticket price, and parking fees will apply. Entertainment and attractions are subject to change without notice.
