REVIEW: This New Disney World Dessert Was ALMOST Perfect, If Not For This ONE Thing

Disney Springs is home to some of our absolute favorite dining spots, so when we hear that there’s a new item at one of our go-to spots, we head to try it out ASAP.

We love new treats!

eet by Maneet Chauhan is home to some truly delicious offerings, and we were so excited to hear about a new dessert at the restaurant. While we had high hopes, and it mostly hit the nail on the head, there was one thing about it that we couldn’t get over.

The Last Wish Cake is available at eet for $11.95, and it’s a rich Chocolate Cake Crowned with Toasted Marshmallow, Delicate Graham dust and finished with white chocolate crispy pearls, an Indulgent Finale meant to be savored before the clock strikes zero.

The Last Wish Cake

This would have been fantastic…if not for the fact that the center of the cake was still cold! It was almost as if they had microwaved the cake, but the center didn’t fully heat up. The cake itself is fairly moist, and it’s like a lava cake in the way that it gets slightly melty with chocolate syrup throughout. The crispy pearls add a great crunch to the cake, and the toasted marshmallows add a bit of smoky flavor to the cake when it’s set down in front of you.

It’s a pretty basic chocolate cake!

It’s a pretty basic chocolate cake, which isn’t an issue at all, but we really wish that the center hadn’t been so cold. Perhaps we just got a bad batch, so we’d be willing to give it another try, but if you’re expecting something incredible, this may not be exactly what you’re hoping for.

We wish that center hadn’t been so cold!
