REVIEW: The $8 Drinks We’re NOT Skipping at Disney Springs

We don’t know about you, but we’ll never pass up a good smoothie!

We recently went to Disney Springs to try two of Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies, and we just need to tell you what we thought. The great thing about Florida — you can get cold smoothies all year ’round!

One of our favorite spots to go to at Disney Springs is Joffrey’s at The Landing, right across from the World of Disney. There you can get their delicious handcrafted smoothies!

We can’t help ourselves, so we HAD to grab two. The first flavor we tried was the Banana Split for $7.99. This smoothie was made up of Pineapple Juice, Strawberries, Bananas, Chocolate, and Yogurt. At first, this tastes like a strawberry-banana smoothie with some underlying chocolate. However, once you get towards the bottom, you get a lot more pineapple juice, which gives you a tangy flavor. It’s almost as if the pineapple juice sinks to the bottom.

The drink itself is very fruity and smooth. The chocolate and the yogurt come together to create a creaminess to the smoothie that is just so delightful. There were a lot of flavors in this thing, yet they all came together so well!

The other drink we got was the Purple Piñata for $7.99. The drink consists of Apple Juice, Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, and Yogurt. You couldn’t tell there was yogurt in it, which impacted the creaminess of the smoothie.

So, the drink felt a lot more apple juice-forward, with a very juicy feel to it. The mixture was just thinner than the other one. The strawberries and raspberries are a lot stronger in this drink than the blueberries, despite the blueberries making the color of the drink what it is.

Overall, these drinks were pretty good, and they weren’t terribly priced. We love these as breakfast options when we’re walking around the Disney shopping district. We will admit, even though it’s Florida, they may be tougher to drink if it’s chillier outside. They’re tasty though, so you’ll push through!
