So we’ve been having a hard time saying goodbye to Dinoland, U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as Disney slowly closes the land to make way for Pueblo Eperanza. More importantly, we think we might miss the food the most.

Think about what we have to give up: those delicious ice cream cookie sandwiches from Dino Bite Snacks, as well as some pretty exemplary holiday treats, including three treats that just arrived at Restaurantosaurus ahead of its closure in February.
During the holiday season, you can get three fun treats at Restaurantosaurus. We tried all three, and we’re here to give you our honest review, starting with the Frozen Hot Cocoa for $6.49. This is Joffrey’s frozen hot cocoa with toasted marshmallow, whipped cream, holiday sprinkles, a chocolate dinosaur, and a chocolate rim. This drink is a true hidden gem. You get lots of whipped cream and frozen hot chocolate. There’s even a bit of mint in the bottom, so you’ll want to stir it up a bit.

This drink is thicker than a shake, but still super creamy. You also get the toasted marshmallow flavor throughout. We also like the little detail with the chocolate bark with a dinosaur bone on it. It’s also well-priced for how much you get.

Then we got the Sugar Cookie, which is a sugar cookie dipped in green sugar with a dinosaur-themed chocolate disc for $4.79. The center chocolate piece is so much fun with little prints of a Santa hat on top of the Dino Institute logo, the ride vehicle from Dinosaur, Dr. Seeker and more.

The cookie has that crackly kind of frosted sprinkles on it, too. It’s chewy, perfectly sugary, and really sells the holiday spirit. This is a sugar cookie done well.

Finally, we ordered the Gingerbread Cookie for $4.99. It’s just a classic gingerbread man with that classic gingerbread flavor that tastes more homemade than store-bought. He’s even got those classic icing details.

The cookie was fresh and so easy to bite into. This is one of those little treats we would get again, especially for under $5.

All three of these were a hit with us, and we’re going to especially miss the Dinoland theming of snacks once the land closes for good in February.
