Disney Confirms You Can Get a FREE SNACK at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

Is it really the holiday season without cookies?

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is almost here, and Disney has confirmed that one of our favorite traditions is coming back for 2025 — with a sweet little bonus. That’s right, you can score a FREE snack at this year’s festival. If you’re planning to visit between November 28th (the day after Thanksgiving) and December 30th, 2025, you’ll definitely want to know how to get in on this cookie-fueled deal.

The Holiday Cookie Stroll Is Back

The Holiday Cookie Stroll has officially been confirmed for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and it’s one of the easiest (and tastiest) ways to get a free treat at Disney World. The concept is simple: buy and enjoy five designated cookies around the festival, and Disney will reward you with a sixth cookie completely free.

Peanut Butter Cookie

Each year, the stroll includes a lineup of special cookies sold at different food booths throughout World Showcase and beyond. You’ll find them listed inside your Festival Passport, and every time you purchase one, a Cast Member will stamp that passport for you. Once you’ve collected five stamps, you’ll head over to Holiday Sweets & Treats to claim your complimentary “completer” cookie.

Cinnamon-Spiced Chocolate Crinkle Cookie

It’s a sweet scavenger hunt that lets you taste your way around EPCOT while collecting a fun little prize at the end — and honestly, it’s become a holiday must-do for a lot of Disney fans.

How It Works

If you’ve never done the Cookie Stroll before, here’s what to expect. When you enter EPCOT, pick up a Festival Passport (they’re free and available at most merchandise or food locations). Inside, you’ll see a list of official cookie stroll locations, along with photos of each cookie.

Holiday Cookie Stroll!

You’ll then choose any five of the official cookies to purchase. When you buy one, ask the Cast Member for a stamp in your passport (that’s how Disney tracks your progress). Once you have five stamps, show your completed page at the Holiday Sweets & Treats booth near Showcase Plaza to redeem your free cookie.

You don’t have to complete the stroll in one day, either. Your stamps carry over throughout the entire festival, so you can spread out the fun (and the sugar rush) across multiple visits if you’d like.

Holiday Sweets and Treats

It’s a great little bonus for anyone who was planning to snack their way through EPCOT anyway, and an especially fun activity for families, groups, or anyone who loves a challenge with a delicious reward at the end.

The Cookies You Might See

Disney hasn’t released the full 2025 Cookie Stroll lineup just yet, but if last year’s menu is any indication, you can expect a mix of returning favorites and new seasonal creations. In 2024, the stroll included treats like:

Gingerbread Tile
  • Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie at Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow
  • Prototype Cookie at Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow
  • Ginger-Molasses Cookie at Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow
  • Holiday Sugar Cookie at Connections Café
  • Cranberry-Oatmeal Cookie at Holiday Hearth Desserts
  • Hazelnut Linzer Cookie at Bavaria Holiday Kitchen
  • Chocolate Cookie featuring SNICKERS bar pieces and salted caramel at American Holiday Table
  • Mickey-shaped Almond Black and White Cookie at L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen
  • Rugelach at L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen
  • Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie at Yukon Holiday Kitchen
  • Coffee Mocha Cookie at Mele Kalikimaka Holiday Kitchen
  • Cinnamon-Spiced Chocolate Crinkle Cookie at Nochebuena Cocina
  • Peanut Butter Cookie with M&M’s Minis at Sunshine Seasons

With that kind of variety, it’s almost impossible to pick wrong. Some are classic, some are new each year, and some, like that Linzer Cookie, are practically festival icons at this point.

Hazelnut Linzer Cookie

The completer cookie for 2024 was a gingerbread cookie mix to take home, which was a fun twist on the usual pre-made prize cookie. Whether Disney keeps that idea for 2025 or debuts a brand-new design, it’s always a sweet way to wrap up the stroll.

Why It’s Worth Doing

Aside from the obvious perk of earning a free cookie, the Holiday Cookie Stroll is a fun way to slow down and explore the festival. It encourages you to visit booths you might otherwise skip and gives you a built-in reason to wander through all the holiday decorations and live entertainment around World Showcase.

Cookie

It’s also a surprisingly affordable Disney “challenge.” Each cookie usually costs a few dollars, so by the time you’ve finished the stroll, you’ve sampled five unique desserts and earned a freebie (all for less than the price of one sit-down dessert).

Black and White

Plus, if you’re someone who likes collecting souvenirs, the stamped Festival Passport itself makes for a cute (and inexpensive) keepsake.

Pro Tips for Your Cookie Quest

If you plan to tackle the Cookie Stroll this year, here are a few tips to make the most of it:

  • Start early in the day. Some booths might sell out of certain cookies later in the afternoon or evening, especially on busy weekends.
  • Share the sweets. If you’re visiting with friends or family, split the cookies so you can sample more without overdoing it.
  • Keep your passport handy. It’s easy to misplace when juggling food and drinks, so tuck it into a bag or pocket between stops.
  • Ask about allergy-friendly options. Not every cookie is made with the same ingredients, and some locations can provide ingredient lists on request.
  • Don’t rush. The festival is all about the atmosphere — take your time to enjoy the music, decorations, and storytelling from each country pavilion.

Your Free Cookie Awaits

EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays is packed with incredible food, entertainment, and festive touches from around the world, but the Holiday Cookie Stroll remains one of its most charming highlights. There’s just something about walking through the park with a cookie in hand, sipping hot cocoa, and collecting stamps that feels like pure holiday magic.
