A brand-new attraction is opening soon at Animal Kingdom, but that isn’t the only thing you should be excited about!

Animal Kingdom is changing a lot these days! Zootopia: Better Zoogether is opening in a couple of days, and DinoLand U.S.A. has a limited number of days left on this Earth. To oversee all of these changes, Disney had to call in reinforcements from the police department… specifically, from the Zootopia Police Department!
There’s a new meet and greet in Animal Kingdom, and fans of Zootopia should be extra excited! The stars of the popular Disney film, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, have taken up permanent residence in Animal Kingdom. This meet and greet opened early, and we couldn’t be more excited!

The ZPD rookie cops can be seen in their new outfits from Zootopia 2, which comes out in theatres on November 26th, 2025. The new meet and greet spot is located near the Tree of Life, specifically, you can find it at The Gathering Spot!

In order to see the characters, you will need to join a virtual queue right now. While we were in line for Nick and Judy, we talked with a Cast Member, and she said they would be using the virtual line at least today and tomorrow, and then they would see after if they are going to continue based on numbers. She said they don’t really have space to put too many people, so that is why they are doing this.

Anyone can join the virtual line, not just Annual Passholders, despite Passholder previews for the Zootopia: Better Together! attraction going on. Once we were called back, it took about 45 minutes for us to see Nick and Judy while in line. After that, we finally got to see the beloved characters, and they looked great!

The new meet and greet is opening alongside Animal Kingdom’s newest attraction, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! The new attraction opened on November 7th, 2025, in the Tree of Life Theater.

During the show, guests will be welcomed to celebrate Zoogether Day, a day to support unity among the diverse biomes across the city. There are tons of talented animals performing, which we’ll get to watch as a livestream watch party.

The lead actors of the movies, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, came back to lend their voices for the shows, along with the filmmakers who worked on the movies. This show is presented in CarrotVision 3D, and is “a reminder that the natural world is profoundly interconnected, and we are no exception.” Oh, and good news: Disney confirmed that there will NOT be any poking, prodding, or critter attacks like there were in It’s Tough To Be A Bug, which was previously located in the theater.

We love it any time Disney brings new faces into the parks, and we hope Nick and Judy will be here for many years to come. It just makes us feel safer! As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
