Fireworks, Drones, and More Coming to World’s Largest Marriott Hotel — Just 10 Minutes from Disney World!

If you’re looking for some holiday fun in Orlando this year, but want to explore outside Disney World and Universal Orlando, there’s a holiday event at the world’s largest Marriott hotel, the Orlando World Center Marriott,  you cannot miss out on!

The hotel has hosted a 12 Days of Holiday Fun event previously, but this year, it’s being expanded so more guests can experience the fun and magic of the holiday season. There are NEW additions being added this year we haven’t seen before, and we can’t wait!

12 Days of Holiday Fun takes place at the hotel from December 20th-31st, 2025, and will include multiple different holiday events and offerings, like:

• A drone show (on December 28th and 30th only)
• Fireworks show on December 29th and 31st to ring in the new year
• Food and beverage pop-ups like the Naughty and Nice Bar

• Poolside silent disco and trivia
• Holiday-themed arts and crafts
• Holiday Photo Opportunities
• Dive-in movies at Falls Pool
• So much more!

You’ll also be able to check out the incredible oversized gingerbread village made from over 5,000 gingerbread bricks that will be created by the on-site pastry team! Guests can also take a trip inside the brand new Holiday Village, which includes interactive booths for holiday activities, sweet treats and holiday drinks, meet and greet opportunities with seasonal characters, and even train and horse-drawn carriage rides!

You can even get stockings and décor delivered to your room between December 21st and 24th! The stockings will be filled with treats to enjoy, and you can decorate your room with a Christmas Tree and ornaments.

These aren’t the only themed events coming to the hotel, though! If you’re visiting in the fall or earlier in the winter season, you can also experience:

• Tasty Fall Fun (October 10th-11th): Experience the hotel’s Biergarten in partnership with local brewery, Crooked Can Brewing Company
• Spooky Speakeasy Event (October 25th): For $20, enter the resort’s speakeasy to test your bartending skills with a spooky spirits class
• Halloween Weekend (October 31st-November 2nd): Dress up in your Halloween costume and enjoy a trick or treat trail on Halloween, themed crafts, Mingo’s costume parade, and more
• Thanksgiving Weekend Celebration (November 27th-30th): Experience the Turkey Trot, eat a Thanksgiving feast at Latitude & Longitude, say hi to Santa and Mrs. Claus, and experience holiday dive-in movies at Falls Pool
• Mermaid & Glow Party (December 27th): Meet Mermaid Elle and her friends at Falls Pool and enjoy glowing swag and bubble machines
• New Year’s Eve Celebration (December 31st): Experience the ultimate pool party to celebrate the new year, complete with a live poolside DJ, sports playing on the jumbo TVs above Falls Pool, and guests 21+ can head to Bourbon and Bubbles Party from 4 PM to 1 AM. A laser light show will happen at 8 PM, and fireworks will light up the sky at 11:59 PM.
