Disney World Annual Passholders Are BEGGING for These 5 Changes

OK, Annual Passholders. This is the place to air your Disney grievances. This is the place to let it out. Are you tired of booking Park Pass Reservations? Missing some of the old Disney World perks? You’re not alone!

We asked our AllEars Facebook friends a simple question: “What changes do you want to see Disney World make as an Annual Passholder?” Our readers did NOT hold back, and we spotted some clear patterns in the responses. Let’s talk about it!

Let’s start with one of the most obvious answers. Annual Passholders are tired of making Park Pass Reservations! If you’re unfamiliar, Park Passes reserve your spot in one of Disney’s four theme parks, and they can “sell out” if the parks are especially crowded. This is a post-COVID rule, and Annual Passholders are a little over this process.

Reader Traci, for example, said, “Would really love it if we didn’t have to still make park reservations.” We tend to agree — the process of going to the My Disney Experience app, logging in, choosing a park, and booking a reservation is surprisingly time-consuming.

Reader Christa (and several others) would like Extra Magic Hours for Annual Passholders. In the past, Disney’s Extended Evening Hours were pretty common, but these days, this perk is limited to Deluxe Resort guests on select nights. These late-night park hours are a great time to enjoy attractions with lower waits. Plus, it’s fun to explore the parks at night!

We LOVE the parks at night!

Reader Judi requests “A Passholder lounge in every park,” and we LOVE this idea! While Disney Vacation Club members have exclusive access to lounges year-round, Annual Passholder lounges are really only available for a few months at a time.

Up next, reader Alison mentioned something we’ve seen fans ask for a LOT: payment plans for new Annual Passes! Those Annual Passes are NOT cheap, but if you’re not a Florida resident, you have to pay the full amount at checkout. All we’re asking for is a simple payment plan — PLEASE, Disney!

Finally, we saw a LOT of people talking about Disney’s controversial skip-the-line system, Lightning Lanes. While some wish Disney would abolish the system altogether, reader Trisha would like a Passholder discount, writing, “Definitely a break on Lightning Lane prices! Even 10% off would be nice.” We LOVE this idea!

  1. As an annual passholder with the Incredi-Pass for years, it would be nice to be offered a payment plan.

I also would love to see the return of the Tables Of Wonderland card.
