This Disney World Hotel Gives Me Anxiety, and I Know I'm Not the Only One

While there is a Disney World hotel out there for everyone, there are some that just make me anxious, and you might feel the same.

When booking your Disney World vacation, you want to find the Disney hotel that is right for you. You might want the perfect pool for those relaxing days. Maybe you are looking for a hotel with a lot of dining options. However, there are just certain hotels that I hesitate to book.

Coronado Springs is the hotel that just makes me worried to book, but hear me out. While this hotel has an incredible pool and a lot of options for restaurants, there is something that holds me back from this resort. It’s the location of the rooms. The resort is very spread out and your room could be a long walk away from the lobby.

Not only might your room be far away from the food and other amenities, but it could also be one of the last bus stops. This means that there is a chance that the bus will be full before you are even able to get on. Of course, if you will have your vehicle there, that wouldn’t be an issue.

Another honorable mention is the All-Star Resorts, but only during certain times of the year — competition season. For example, there are major cheer and dance competitions that are held at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports and many teams stay in the All-Star Resorts. The areas will be crowded and don’t be shocked if you hear a team practicing early in the morning.

Finally, Art of Animation or Pop Century worries me. The Skyliner is a great option for transportation to other resorts, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. However, there is too much that can go wrong with it for me. You could get stuck (which has happened to me) or the weather could shut it down. There is also a very long line in the mornings during peak seasons. If you will have access to a vehicle while on your trip, this won’t be a big deal for you!
