It’s a big year for Disney entertainment with the return of Marvel’s Daredevil, a new reboot of Fantastic Four coming to theaters this summer, and the Snow White live-action remake coming in just a few weeks! Now it’s finally time for a popular Disney movie to head home to Disney+!
Moana 2 is finally headed home to Disney+ and we couldn’t be more excited! The film, which was nominated for a Golden Globe, was a big hit with fans of Moana.

The movie debuted back in November 2024, eight years after the original movie! Yes, we felt old when we realized it had been 8 years too. The new film follows Moana and Maui as they go on an adventure to save Moana’s people this time joined by several new friends and a few of our favorite animal friends.

The original cast returned for the film including Auli’i Cravalho as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui! The new film also featured music by Mark Mancina, Opetaia Foaʻi, Abigail Barlow, and Emily Bear.

For fans of Moana 2, you can finally start rewatching Moana and her friends’ adventures on March 12th, 2025 on Disney+! We are so close!! Disney revealed this news back in February but it never hurts to have a good reminder. For parents who are ready for their kiddos’ new hyper fixation, Moana is arriving on the scene just in time.

We can’t wait to sing the songs over and over again while we watch Moana and Moana 2 back to back! Disney+ has also been busy with the return of Daredevil, Pixar’s new series Win or Lose, and more! Don’t forget to keep following AllEars for all of your Disney entertainment news and updates.
