As 2024 ends, the 2025 entertainment awards season begins!

While more new movies are still to come in 2024, such as Mufusa: The Lion King, the nominations for the 2025 Golden Globes are in. The nominations were announced on the morning of Monday, December 8th, with the awards getting presented on January 5th. This year, Disney, Marvel, and Pixar racked up five nominations! Let’s see which movies and actors are in the running for this prestigious award.

The Golden Globes awards are broken down into categories by genre, actors, music, and more. The following are all of the nominations Disney, Marvel, and Pixar have received and are in the running for!

Best performance by a female actor in a television series (musical or comedy)

• Kathryn Hahn, Agatha All Along

Best motion picture (animated)

• Inside Out 2
• Moana 2

Cinematic and box office achievement

• Deadpool & Wolverine
