REVIEW: Wailana Adults Pool Bar at Disney's Aulani Resort

It’s another beautiful sunny day at Disney’s Aulani Resort, and we’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying the view, and sipping a little drink. Now, THAT is our definition of paradise. We’re here at the Wailana Pool Bar, and after enjoying a wonderful poolside drink, we simply had to tell you about it.

This pool bar has a menu full of fruity, tropical drinks, local Hawaiian cuisine, and classic poolside snacks like pizza, wraps, burgers, and salad. We tried a fan-favorite drink at this location, and we have to talk about it.

This pool bar serves drinks from 10 AM to 9 PM, but be warned! The food service runs from 11 AM to 5 PM.

The menu has so many great options!

We went with the Lava Flow, which is made with Don Q Rum, Cream of Coconut, Strawberry Purée, and Pineapple Juice. You can get it for $16.

This is essentially just a version of a Piña Colada, but when you’re sitting by the pool on a tropical vacation, that’s exactly what you want! This one was well-balanced and definitely had a fair amount of rum in it, which was much appreciated.

The floral garnish and pineapple slice really made this feel special — it elevated a basic poolside drink to make it feel really tropical and beachy. The Cast Members told us this was one of the most popular drinks at the pool bar, and we can totally see why. If you’re looking for a crowd-pleasing frozen strawberry pina colada, this is the way to go.
