We Just Found Our New Favorite Disney Store - And We're Never Leaving!

Now, it’s no secret that we get excited when a new store opens in Disneyland — and we’ve seen a lot of new stores AND restaurants open recently at Downtown Disney.

But there’s one store we’ve been VERY anxiously awaiting to open and it’s Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, which replaced Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney. Well, we just had a chance to go INSIDE this new store, so let’s go inside!

We attended a media preview of Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, which is located in Downtown Disney in the same location where Marceline’s Confectionery used to be. However, things are looking a LOT different now — we can tell how much fun this store is going to be before we ever step inside. We love the fun whimsical candy-inspired decor on the shop’s entrance.

Once you step inside, you’ll immediately see Disney Cast Members busy at making the shop’s sweet concoctions — there’s also a window so you can watch them do their thing from the outside.

Inside, you’ll find a super fun candy shop. It’s giving Candy Crush vibes.

This decor is SO FUN.

It’s “A wonderful place with the sweetest taste.” We love this cinnamon roll design on the ceiling.

You’ll find the usual items here that you could get at Marceline’s, including candy apples, marshmallow wands, cookies, and more. Also, if you love that churro toffee as much as we do, it’s available here, too.

You’ll also find a lot of prepackaged goodies to take home, too, along with some beverages.

There’s even a special popcorn bucket that you can get. Meet Poppi, an all-new character who now has its own popcorn bucket. Poppi is the official store mascot for Disney’s Wonderful World of Sweets!

Oh, did we mention that this is where you can also get Werther’s Caramel Popcorn? It’s the EXACT same caramel popcorn you can get from Karamell-Küche at the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT.

That’s not all! Disney also gave us a first look inside the new Disney Storyland Boutique.

This shop will have some of the trendiest Disney merchandise. The decor is bright and just check out this awesome sign with letters themed to different characters! Can you figure them all out?

It also features merchandise with iconic characters like Stitch…

…and our friends from the Hundred Acre Wood!

The new Create-Your-Own-Headband trend will also be available here when the shop opens later this week.
