I Go To Disney World for a Living. My Boss HATES When I Do This in the Parks

As a Disney World local, it is my job to go to Disney World to make a living.

Hanging out in the Magic Kingdom

Although going to Disney World is my job, I get to have a lot of fun while working! I get to hang out with my awesome co-workers, compete in fun challenges, and try a bunch of different foods. While we do have fun, my boss, Quincy, can sometimes get annoyed with me as I do a few things that get under her skin, but don’t worry, she still loves me, and it is all in good fun!

Having a boss like Quincy is great, and we have worked together closely over the last few years. Since we compete in challenges together and go to the parks to film YouTube videos, there are times that she can get a little frustrated with me.

I Love to Talk to Cast Members

I am a chatty guy, and I have a reputation for taking a while to do things, and Quincy knows this. I can get easily distracted because I love to have conversations with Cast Members. Sometimes, I will ask a Cast Member a question for a video or as a reporter, and then I end up having a full-on conversation with them about something else.

I love chatting with Cast Members!

Cast Members are so friendly and have a lot of great stories, so it is easy to want to have a long conversation with them, but this can be a problem when we are competing in challenges or when we have a lot to cover. In some cases, Quincy catches me and gently nudges me to move on to stay on track.

When I Don’t Carry Things for Her

When we are filming, we are in the parks for a long time, so to stay hydrated, the AllEars team likes to take their own water bottles with them. There are times when Quincy asks me to help her hold her water bottle when she is filming, and I jokingly refuse.

Group fun at Disney World!

Obviously, I end up helping her, but it is funny to see her get a little worked up about it.

When My Disguises Are Too Good

Some challenges require us to dress up in a disguise, but sometimes, my disguise is too good.

In some cases, I will wear wigs, which makes it hard for Quincy to find me. It just shows that I am good at my job and completing the task at hand!

Not only do I dress-up for some challenges, but I even dressed up for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

It Takes Longer to Get My Food

As a plant-based eater, I sometimes have to wait a little longer to receive my food at a quick service location. This can put the team a little behind, or it can take me longer to review because I have to wait for my food.

Quincy is super understanding of this, and sometimes she is in the same boat as me as she will also try to order a plant-based option. However, it is not always ideal to have to wait for me to get my food. I have started to get other members of our team to try to eat plant-based with me and earlier this year, Emma took on the challenge.

I Can’t Do Every Food Review

When I am in the parks reporting by myself, sometimes I am asked to try new food to review. The problem is that as a plant-based eater, my options are limited.

If a new food that is not plant-based comes out, we have to wait for another reporter to try the food. My team is so understanding of this, but it can sometimes delay getting news to our readers.

Trying Tonga Toast at the Polynesian!

Although these five things can be frustrating, I am so lucky to have a boss like Quincy, who knows how I am and is very understanding.

  1. Breedlove – you are one of a kind and this channel wouldn’t be the same without you. It’s wonderful that Quincy understands your quirks and works with them. You always make me smile when I see you in a video. Keep doing you!
