OK, people. We need to talk about this gorgeous restaurant that too many people have NOT visited in Disney World. Now, it’s easy to find — just look for the long line of people standing outside the Gideon’s Bakehouse shop and walk one door over. This place is pretty special, and we’ve had some GREAT meals here!
We’re talking about Morimoto Asia! Today, we’re back to explore the NEW lunch specials, and we can’t wait to see what’s available. If you like ramen, sushi, orange chicken, or dumplings, you need to check this place out. Now, let’s head inside!
Morimoto Asia has some new lunch specials on the menu! You can enjoy new dishes like the Asian Salad, with mesclun and baby iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, red onion, orange segment, apple, wonton chips, and ginger dressing for $15.
We’re also intrigued by that Orange Chicken Set, which comes with orange chicken and a choice of white or brown rice, Kanikama roll or fried chicken dumpling, and miso soup or house salad with yuzu dressing for $24. For dessert, you can also try the new Japanese Souffle Cheesecake with strawberry, shiso, and strawberry sorbet for $14. Hungry yet?
We tried the Ramen Set with duck ramen, kanikama sushi, and a house salad with yuzu dressing! This warm, savory, and perfectly salty entree is $22.
Here’s a look at the kanikama sushi and the house salad with yuzu dressing that came with our meal. You get a LOT of food, so come hungry!
We also ordered the Poke Bowl with tuna, salmon, hamachi marinated in soy, sesame, and crunchy garlic chili over sushi rice! First of all, WOW! This was plated beautifully. At $24, this was a nice, filling dish with a lovely combination of bold and subtle flavors.
This special lunch menu is available on weekdays from 11:30AM–3:30PM. Oh, and if you’re an Annual Passholder, you can get 20% off the lunch service until the end of September!
When we say that you’re missing out on this restaurant, we mean it. From the classic dishes you may recognize to the adventurous options, there’s so much to love here. We once spent $275 on a BIG meal and had zero regrets. It’s that good.
Sure, Disney Springs has some great dining options, but it’s fun to try something new, right? In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
