Your FIRST CHANCE To See Magic Kingdom’s NEWEST Attraction After an EXTENDED Closure Is Coming Soon!

So many exciting things have been happening in Magic Kingdom.

Country Bear Jamboree opening date

Not only is Magic Kingdom getting a huge expansion (granted, we don’t know when that will start), but a brand-new ride just opened, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. But something else NEW is coming to Magic Kingdom, too: a new, revamped Country Bear Jamboree — and it’s coming NEXT WEEK.

That’s right. The new Country Bear Jamboree show is opening in Magic Kingdom on July 17th. We recently got a sneak peek video at the new costumes for the Sun Bonnets, but we also got a sneak peek at even more of the new costumes the Bears will be performing in. Don’t they look snazzy?

New costumes!

The Country Bear Jamboree show will be inspired by the Opry-style shows of Nashville and feature brand-new songs. Disney has shared a few of those songs with us, including a new version of “Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book, as well as “A Whole New World” from Aladdin,  and”Try Everything” from Zootopia. The songs are being recorded by some amazing recording artists, including Allison Russell, Christopher Scott,  Emily Ann Roberts, and more.

We expect Magic Kingdom might be a little busy on July 17th, and if the Country Bear Jamboree’s closing shows are any indication, you’re going to be waiting in long lines to catch the new show.

In the meantime, the Country Bear Jamboree is still closed, but you can occasionally catch some of its stars, like Big Al and Wendell, wandering around Frontierland, so keep an eye out for them — they ARE celebrities, after all.
