Currently slated to open in December 2024, the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows at Disney World might still be under construction, but we’re already planning a visit!

And, you can too because reservations will become available soon for this brand-new hotel. Let’s check out all the details!
Disney World previously announced that Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members can book Island Tower reservations beginning June 4th!

Early DVC rental reservations won’t be point-based and can be made by contacting Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Points-based reservations will be allowed at a later date.

Not only that, but Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can book reservations beginning June 5th, and all other guests can begin booking reservations on June 6th.
Annual Passholders can make rental reservations by contacting (407) 934-7639. Finally, all other guests can make reservations online or by calling (407) 934-7639.

Inspired by the Polynesian Islands, this tower showcases art reflecting wildlife native to each Polynesian locale. Additionally, a dozen artists from around the globe contributed unique artworks that can be found all over the resort, including preserved moss walls and sculptures made from recycled fishing nets.

The Island Tower is located on the waterfront with fantastic views of Seven Seas Lagoon. The 10-story tower is themed with a blend of the natural world and Disney, and has close access to the Disney Monorail.

As for the rooms, the Island Tower will offer a variety of room types that will sleep anywhere from two to nine guests. Options include duo studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, and two-bedroom penthouse villas. Many rooms also boast outstanding views.
Disney World will be changing in a major way in 2024 and later in 2025. If you want to get a jump on the biggest changes coming to the parks and beyond to prepare for your trip, check out these major updates you need to know about.
