A Disney World Park Map Just CHANGED (And We Love It!)

Disney’s Animal Kingdom has recently seen its fair share of changes to the way you interact with the park’s characters and it doesn’t seem like they’re stopping there!

We’re out in the parks every day looking for all sorts of changes around Disney World and we’ve got another CHANGE to tell you about!

We told you there was a TON of change coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and we’re adding one more to the list! On a recent visit, we happened to notice a BIG change almost as soon as we stepped through the ticket gate.

Just as you enter the park, you’re almost immediately greeted by a stand with paper maps of the parks, and on this particular outing, we noticed the map for Disney’s Animal Kingdom had changed again! The front design is a different cover photo than the one before but that’s not all that’s changed.

When you open the map the inside design tells you a bit more about what you can expect to explore around the park in terms of entertainment, dining, and animal experiences…

…and as you continue to fold the map open, you’ll find the full park map with all of the attractions, rides, entertainment, and animal locations marked…

… and the opposite side holds the legend for all of the markers!

There’s also a backside to the map that will make you aware of other important information that could also be helpful to your visit like personalized guest services, transportation options, park rules, and more.

It’s pretty neat to see that this new version of the park’s map includes a designation for where to find, purchase, and trade Disney Pins! Since this popular practice is starting to return to its pre-pandemic style, we’re eager to see if the other park’s maps also make a similar change.
