Are you flying soon? Maybe heading to Disney World?
When it comes to flying, you really have your pick of airlines and airports (we totally get trying to get the best option for your dollar!). If you’re flying with American Airlines soon, here are some UNSPOKEN RULES you need to know.
Timing Your Requests for Headphones
Let’s say that you need a pair of headphones for your in-flight entertainment (maybe you forgot to charge yours), you can ask for a pair — just remember that timing is everything.

Don’t ask when the flight attendants are busy with boarding procedures. Instead, wait until everyone is seated and things have settled down.

This is when flight attendants can more easily accommodate your request. They typically have plenty of headphones on hand.

You Can Get the Whole Can
When the beverage cart comes around, did you know that you can ask for the entire can of soda?

While they might say no if it’s a popular drink, if you’re opting for something less popular (like tomato juice), they’re more likely to give you the whole can without any issue. Don’t hesitate to ask!
Tech Troubles? Speak Up!
If your in-flight entertainment screen isn’t working, let a flight attendant know. They can often reset the system for you.

If an entire row is experiencing problems or if the Wi-Fi isn’t working and the plane hasn’t taken off yet, they can reset the Wi-Fi as well. It’s worth mentioning the issue as soon as you notice it.
Upgrading to First Class
Are you thinking about splurging on first class for your next flight? First things first, don’t rush to buy the upgrade when you’re initially booking your ticket.

Sometimes, you can get a much better deal on an upgrade when you check-in. So, keep an eye out for these opportunities as they can be surprisingly reasonable.
Snack Savvy
Lastly, if you’re looking for something to munch on while you’re flying, go ahead and skip the peanuts because you need to know about the real stars of the show.

The pretzel roll is a must-try, and their chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Make sure to snag these tasty treats if they’re available on your flight.
