Disney World itself is expensive, but there are additional experiences guests can add to their trips to make it even MORE expensive.

This can be things like table service dining reservations, especially ones with prix-fixe meals, staying at a deluxe resort for your whole stay, or, one of the most expensive, choosing to do a private VIP tour. While these tours are incredibly expensive, there’s a simple way it can become accessible to “normal” guests too!
VIP Tours at Disney World come with a VIP Tour Guide (you’ll see them in their iconic plaid vests!). On a VIP tour, you’ll be able to skip all the lines without needing to get Lightning Lanes via Genie+, get the best seats in the house for any live show you’d like to see, take private transportation to and from your hotel and the parks, and learn boatloads of Disney information from your expert guide. You might think Disney World only pulls out all the stops for celebrities, right?

Nope! Anyone can book a VIP Tour. Now, it’s gonna take some money — lots of money, potentially. These tours cost $450-$900 an hour (depending on the season) and must be booked for a minimum of 7 continuous hours. BUT …

Private VIP tours can accommodate up to 10 people, and that’s the key to making this affordable for the average person. If you have 10 people in your group and the rate is $500 an hour for 7 hours, each person is paying $350 (plus their ticket to the parks for the day, as that’s not included in the price of the tour)! While that’s still a lot of money, it might bring it down into the affordable range for you.

Especially when you consider that the tour will be tailored to your group, and if you’re skipping the waits on the popular rides and being shuttled around “behind the scenes,” you might get away with less days on your park tickets because you’ll get to see so much during the tour. A VIP Tour may not be something you can do on every trip to Disney World, but it could be a fun splurge if you plan ahead!
f you’d like to book a private VIP tour, you can call Disney at (407) 560-4033.

If you’re looking for a special event or tour that doesn’t cost as much, there are plenty of other options to explore at Disney!
- Keys to The Kingdom Tour — On this 5-hour walking tour, guests will uncover secrets about Magic Kingdom’s rides, attractions, and details, as well as explore the Utilidors underneath the park. A lunch is also included with this tour, and you’ll get a keepsake to take home, all for $129-$149 per guest, plus tax.

- EPCOT Seas Adventures — There are two experiences guests can have here — one is DiveQuest, where for $229-$249 per person, plus tax, divers can scuba down into the 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium, plus get a backstage tour of the aquarium. And in their Dolphins in Depth encounter for $209 per person, plus tax, where you’ll get to learn about the dolphins and who works with them, plus interact with dolphins in the water!

- Wild Africa Trek — go on a private VIP tour of the African savanna in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and get up close with exotic wildlife! Not only will you get lunch during your tour, but you’ll also get complimentary photos of your experience, all for $229-$249 a person plus tax.

- Behind The Seeds — One of the cheapest behind-the-scenes tours in all of Disney World is where you can explore the greenhouses and fish farm seen on Living With The Land and be taught all about how EPCOT grows food for the whole resort. It only costs $39-$45 per person, plus tax!

And there are even more VIP tours you can explore!
