It’s almost time!

The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival officially kicks off on February 28th. We’ve already seen some of the festival’s topiaries and kiosks turning up in EPCOT, and we have the full schedule for the Garden Rocks concert series. Disney also just recently posted all the menus for the food booths, but after looking over those, we have a suggestion for you: WAIT to go to the festival.
Yes, that’s right. Although you might want to attend the festival shortly after it begins, we think waiting could offer you a better experience. That might seem like counterintuitive advice, but we have a good reason. One food booth at the festival, Farmer’s Feast, is actually rotating out part of its menu throughout the festival.

So, if you visit the festival early from February 28th through March 30th, you’ll get to try the Veal Tenderloin with spring pea risotto featuring Ben’s Original International Arborio Rice (new) and red wine syrup, as well as the Strawberry Rhubarb Upside-down Cake with crème fraîche whipped cream.

However, if you wait to visit the festival on March 31st through April 27th, you’ll have the opportunity to get two DIFFERENT eats: Seared Scallop with tomato risotto featuring Ben’s Original International Grains Arborio Rice and tomato beurre blanc, as well as Blueberry Buckle with lemon crème fraîche. Both of these menu items are new to the festival this year.

Wait a little longer and visit the festival on April 28th through May 27th, and two more all-new items will be available: Seared Pork Tenderloin with corn risotto featuring Ben’s Original International Grains Arborio Rice and roasted red pepper sauce, along with a Peach Galette with ginger-vanilla whipped cream.

So depending on which foods you want to try, you might want to schedule your visit to the festival during the time those are available. However, one food item will be available throughout the entire festival: Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with savory garlic spread and plant-based cheese.

Two drinks will also be available throughout the festival: Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail featuring Islamorada Brewery & Distillery Hibiscus Gin and Frozen Lemon Tea Cocktail with Bärenjäger Honey & Bourbon.
Be sure to keep these changes in mind if you’re planning a Disney World trip to include the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. Of course, there’s no rule that says you only have to visit the festival once, so if you have the chance, go during all three periods to try everything at Farmers Feast!
Check back with AllEars again soon for more Disney news.
