NEWS: TWO Magic Kingdom Attractions Off to ROUGH Start in Disney World

Another day, another drama. Listen, Disney World has a LOT of rides, shows, and attractions to keep up with, so it’s no surprise that rides break down on a pretty regular basis. You try working 365 days a year!

Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom

Well, over in Magic Kingdom, we noticed that two popular attractions were having a rough morning on February 9th. Let’s take a look at what’s going down.

Poor Tomorrowland — this part of the park was going through it! First, we noticed that Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin was temporarily closed. According to a Cast Member, the ride was down due to a technical difficulty, and they did not have an estimate on when the ride could reopen.

As we passed by the ride on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, we saw that the lights were on and the ride was stopped.

The lights are on!

Normally, this is a dark ride, so when you see the lights on, you know it’s not a good sign. Fingers crossed it reopens soon!

How interesting!

But wait! There’s MORE. Later that morning, we noticed that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover was being evacuated, too. You can see a Cast Member and guests walking off the attraction through the overhead windows in the Star Traders gift shop.

PeopleMover is being evacuated, too!

Luckily, it seems like the PeopleMover is back up and running now. We’ll keep our eyes out for more updates, but let this be a lesson to always expect the unexpected when you’re in Disney World — you never know what you may see!

The PeopleMover is a CLASSIC!
