FIVE (!!!) New Ice Cream Flavors Just Arrived in Disney World, and We Have THOUGHTS.

It’s a new month, and that means it’s time for new flavors at Salt & Straw!

You can find Salt & Straw at Disney Springs in Disney World and Downtown Disney in Disneyland. Each month, the shop releases new flavors you can try throughout the whole month, and since Valentine’s Day is around the corner, there are extra special flavors available this February!

This month, you can experience The Chocolatiers Series. These five new flavors have been made in collaboration with the most renowned chocolatiers and bean-to-bar connoisseurs in the country. Oooh! Fancy!

This month, you can try:

• Cloudforest’s Cocoa Hazelnut Magic Sauce

• Compartés Cake Batter Chocolate Fudge

• Dandelion’s Chocolate Nibs and Frangipane

• Exquisito Chocolate’s Passionfruit Truffles

• Fran’s Chocolate Almond Gold Bar

We headed over to try the Exquisito Chocolate’s Passionfruit Truffles (Vegan Vanilla and passionfruit coconut creams, chocolate truffles, Guatemalan dark chocolate stracciatella) and Compartés Cake Batter Chocolate Fudge (Rainbow-sprinkled cake batter ice cream, brown butter vanilla bean fudge) in a cup.

The cake batter ice cream was really sweet, thanks to the actual cake crumbles and sprinkles throughout, and we could really taste the sweet vanilla. The passion fruit is tart and tangy and very refreshing! The texture is more sorbet-like because it’s vegan, but we truly enjoyed it.

We wouldn’t necessarily recommend these two as a pair together, but individually, both were AMAZING! If you’re a fruit fan, you’ll enjoy the Exquisito Chocolate’s Passionfruit Truffles, and if you’re a big fan of sweets (and have no shame in eating raw cake batter), you’ll love the Compartés Cake Batter Chocolate Fudge.
