Disney currently has lots of different refurbishments and new attractions in progress.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is under a long refurbishment AGAIN, EPCOT walls are finally coming down, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is on its way this year. But there’s a big misconception about one of these new additions that we NEED to clear up right now.
First, a little bit of backstory/supplemental information from our west coast park, Disneyland Resort. Over in Disneyland, you can find Tiana’s Palace, a restaurant that has opened BEFORE Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is coming to Disneyland and Disney World.
So what’s the misconception? While Tiana’s Palace is a restaurant, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is NOT a restaurant, it’s a ride!
Now, many of you may be saying “uh, yeah, I know that, why is that a misconception?” But others of you may be having a revelation. Recently, we’ve overheard MANY people in Magic Kingdom thinking that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is going to be a restaurant, and that’s simply not true! There’s a pretty good reason people think that, though … take a look at the posters on the construction walls around the ride.
That’s right, they are ads for the fictional restaurant, Tiana’s Foods! Disney often has fun theming its construction walls, and in this case, it looks like the theming is just too good.
So what is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure? Well it’s taking the place of Splash Mountain, but will have the same ride system. The new storyline follows Tiana after The Princess and The Frog film as she prepares for a Mardi Gras celebration with the whole town. You’ll help her find the missing key ingredient needed for the celebration before it begins.

The Whole Attraction& Tiana’s Place Restaurant.If You’re Considering Trying Tiana’s Creole Eatery In New Orleans Circle Skip It Altogether.The Food Is Totally Different And Nowhere As Good As,When It Was Carthay Circle Restaurant,Or Carnation Cafe. All My Family Who Went For Christmas 2023,My Parents& I,My Sister& Nephews All Ate There& They Ordered Sandwiches,Chicken,Mini Cornbread(Multiple),& I Got A Gumbo/Jambalaya Bowl& My Dad Gave Me His Red Bean’s & Rice.It Was Decent But Not At All Good Enough For Another Meal.Tiana’s Creole Eatery Is.
