Ahoy there! Before you know it, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship will be ready to set sail!
The Disney Treasure is set to launch in December 2024 and will consist of a 7-night voyage through the east and western parts of the Caribbean. Until then, Disney has provided us with an exciting October 2023 update!
Per Disney, the Disney Treasure’s forward funnel traveled from Poland and has arrived at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Disney says the funnel will be secured atop the Disney Treasure soon.
Additionally, the funnel will be painted shiny red to match the iconic look of Disney’s cruise line fleet. Attraction enthusiasts, we’ve got good news! Anyone aboard the Disney Treasure will be able to plunge through the red forward funnel while riding the Disney Cruise Line attraction staple, the AquaMouse.
Not only that, but you’ll be able to watch your favorite Disney movies via the Funnel Vision screen by the family pool. The forward funnel will also house the EPCOT-themed Tomorrow Tower Suite, allowing guests to stay inside.
This news comes one month after Disney released more information about the ship’s interior.
